It was just after eight o'clock when the Midnight Special began to roll out with everyone onboard either singing or playing. It set us up well for Kath & Stan's Wild Wood Boys to come alive before making way for Eric's Merry Little Doffer Lad. No sign of Athlete's Foot on John who sang, played and danced. Back on track, Rob's Peace Train started to roll and it was followed with Paul Mc running along the platform singing Let It Be Me. Did he have Margaret's South Wind behind him? Maybe it was the wind that blew Heather's Cosmo the Knife Thrower off target and causing Allen's McPherson's Rant. Just before everything got too much, James restored harmony with Dylan's Things Have Changed and Paul R encouraged everyone to Sit Down. Then, Kath & Stand introduced The Wayfaring Stranger, Eric introduced A Mon Like Thee and Bernard said Hello, Patrick Hagon. John thought he was in Paradise which left Rob puzzling, Who Will It Be? Paul Mc continued to Drift Away causing Heather a short bout of Amnesia. But, who could forget Allen's Nearly Sonnet Eighteen. What an Unknown Legend! stated James as the first half drew to a close. We resumed after the raffle and will resume again next week with a new excursion into the world of poetry and music, and maybe the occasional joke! Hope to see you then.
