2010 - 2011



Sale Folk Club Ceilidh - 7.00pm Sunday 18 April
Tickets are now available - £7.50
This will be held in The Scout Hut in Timperley The Nelson Peach Ceilidh Band.
A Caller will lead the dancing and there will be a Hot Pot Supper.
People are asked to bring their own drinks.


Walk 1 - Sunday 16 May Park on the main A56 by the railings alongside
the Upper Dam in Lymm at 1.00pm for a 1.30pm start finishing about 4.30pm.
Then we drive to The Saracens Head in Warburton to eat and sing
some songs in our now customary manner until about 8.00pm.

No hurry but indicate you interest when you know you are joining us!!

Canal Boat Trip 1 - Sunday 4 July This was announced at our weekly Tuesday Acoustic Folk Night on
9 February and all tickets were immediately taken up and as last year this will involve two hire boats from
Stockton Heath Marina accommodating only 24 people in total. The boats will be piloted by
ourselves and offer facilities for making drinks and warming food which will be provided by yourselves.


Canal Boat Trip 2 - Depending on the level of interest a second trip will be organised also with two hire boats from
Stockton Heath Marina. The arrangements will be the same as for Trip 1.

Walk 2 - This will be at a new venue still to be announced but will be in a similar format.
